1 clove
1 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
1 fresh lemon, juiced
2 cups dark rum
4 cinnamon sticks
1 fresh lemon, juiced
2 cups dark rum
4 cinnamon sticks
Bring water to near boil. Add and stir in sugar, butter, clove, nutmeg and lemon juice.
Remove from heat. Add rum. Pour into fancy mugs, add cinnamon sticks and serve. Serves 4.
If you have a fire going in the fireplace and your guests are around the fire, have a clean poker sitting in the flames. When someone’s drink has become cold, pull the poker out and with, the proper flourish, stick it in his or her drink!. Remember you will get only one flourish to a drink, then you will have to reheat poker.
Bon Appetit!
